About Techkids USA

At Techkids USA, we believe in empowering young minds through innovative STEM education and technology. Founded by Dr. Silas Njoroge, an educator with over 20 years of experience, Techkids USA is committed to bringing the latest in robotics and technology to schools and after-school programs across the country.

Silas's diverse background as a math and computer science instructor, entrepreneur, and instructional designer uniquely positions Techkids USA to create engaging, practical, and data-driven learning experiences. Our mission is to leverage the transformative power of technology, data, and analytics to address the complex challenges in today’s educational landscape. Whether it's face-to-face, hybrid, or online learning environments, Techkids USA strives to develop an aptitude for systematically solving complex problems in young minds.

Silas's experience in comprehensive data analytics and instructional design is foundational to our approach. By applying industry-proven practices—we ensure that our educational programs are not only engaging but effective in fostering critical thinking, creativity, and technological fluency in children.

At Techkids USA, we aim to shape the next generation of innovators by making technology accessible, fun, and relevant to every child’s learning journey.

History

With more than two decades of teaching STEM subjects, we have observed students who demonstrate an aptitude for systematically solving complex problems. What fosters this ability? It appears to stem from a blend of early exposure, interactive learning, supportive surroundings, and access to educational tools and opportunities. By offering stimulating learning experiences both within and beyond traditional classroom settings, educators and caregivers can effectively nurture and enhance these crucial skills in children and young learners.

Tech Kids is a service providing programs designed to introduce children to hands-on STEM education, facilitating the development of technological proficiency, computational thinking, and problem-solving abilities from an early age.

TechKids was founded in 2015. We are proud of the impact we have made and continue to make in the lives of children across Memphis Metro area as we help kids learn STEM in a fun and engaging way. At Techkids, we are committed to making our program accessible to all kids, regardless of their background or skill level. We believe that every child has the potential to learn to code and that our program can help them achieve their goals. We are dedicated to helping kids discover the amazing possibilities that coding can offer and inspiring them to pursue their dreams.

Mission

Our mission is to provide kids with a fun and engaging way to explore science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) concepts through hands-on activities, experiments, and projects. We believe that every child should have the opportunity to develop their creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Vision

Our vision is to inspire the next generation of innovators and leaders in STEM fields by fostering a love of learning and exploration in kids.
